Ultimate Blog Party

I’d like to thank everyone who’s stopping by to my little shindig that is Beanish and Other Languages I’m Learning via the Ultimate Blog Party hosted by Five Minutes for Mom .  (By the way, congratulations to Susan and Janice on their pregnancies!  How exciting!)  Anway, I’ve been blogging for almost a year now, but just moved over to WordPress about a month ago. I’m settling in nicely and enjoying my new digs quite a bit.

My soon to be two year old daughter, M, is my main bloggity topic, although, I’m finding myself branching out into other directions as well.  My little blog started as a way to keep far away family up to date on my daughter as she grows.  We live quite a distance from almost all of our extended family, and it seemed like the best way to share all the beanishly wonderful moments of her life.  We also have weekly webcam visits with both sets of grandparents.  Yes, my child is already attuned to this technologically connected world in which we live.

Here’s a little about her premature arrival into our lives 8 1/2 weeks early and weighing only 2 pounds and 11 ounces.  It’s still a work in progress that I’m hoping to have finished up soon.  Obviously, the story has a wonderful outcome since you can see here and here how she’s doing today.

In case you’e wondering about the title, here’s a little explanation on where it came from.

Here’s a photo of us on our vacation to Gulfshores, Alabama last year.  resizedp9132267.jpg  If you click on the photo, it won’t be fuzzy when it comes up.  Although, I certainly feel that way a good many days.

Sometimes I’m serious and sometimes I’m boring.  Hopefully, I’m a little humorous here, there and yonder.  But whatever I am, I hope that everyone enjoys stopping by and will come again.
