One of T’s co-workers is a lady that is maybe old enough to be his mother.  He has helped her out more than one occassion doing things like changing her flat tire.  As a consequence, she’s sort-of adopted him and by extension, M and me to do sweet mom/grandma type things.  T has come home more than once with brownies or lemon cake that she’s shared with him.

A couple of days ago, Mrs. Lillian sent home a gingerbread house for M, and oh was it ever a hit!  When we put it on the table, I asked M what she thought and got a resounding “I LIKE it!”

I printed these up and sent them to work with T today to give to Mrs. Lillian as a thank you note.  M definitely enjoyed her gingerbread house!

Today, M wanted some of her “house,” but it wasn’t an appropriate time for a sweet.  So T told her, “How about later.” 

Her reply was “How about now.”

She’s quick.  Pray for us.  I think we’re going to be in for it.
