For this week’s Works For Me Wednesday, Shannon has asked us to share toys that have been tried by our kids and proven to be winners. I knew right away that I would be talking about the Cariboo game by Cranium.
My sister sent it to The Bean as a gift, and has it ever been a hit! The Bean LOVES it. It is played on a regular basis at our house.
What I love about Cariboo is that it helps The Bean learn as she plays. She has to match up colors, shapes, letters, and numbers as she plays. I’ve watched it help her learn all those basic skills and build her knowledge base for all the learning to come.
Another great feature of the game is that it has two levels of play. As The Bean gets older, I’ll be able to play the advanced version of the game with her. This makes it a game that will transition with her. I am grateful that The Bean’s aunt sent her such a wonderful gift.
Cariboo by Cranium definitely Works For Me!
Head over to Rocks In My Dryer for more tried and true toys!

Very cool! I’ve never heard of this game before. Perhaps Santa will pick this out for our Babisodes this year :)

Looks like a great gift idea! I can see Esme loving it as she learns more about colors etc.
