Back in April, The Bean turned 5 this year!!! I’m still in shock. It was just last month that I finally brought her home from the hospital! She truly becomes a greater blessing each day. I can never imagine how much more I can love her, but it seems that every day, I do. Watching her grow and blossom has been amazing. This year has truly been one of growth and change for her.
Thank you, My Sweet Bean, for the joy you bring to my life, for the smiles you share, for the laughter you provide, the perspective you have. Thank you for being your wonderful Beanish self. I am blessed to call myself your Mommy.

Happy belated B-day to The Bean. Love her cake, did you make it. Those were my favorite colors growing up. My room was painted that green and I had lots of pink accents.

I did make it, Beth! My first attempt at home decorating. I have such good memories of my mom making my birthday cakes, that I want to give The Bean that memory too.
